Google Career Certificate Scholarship
Scholarships for the new Google Career Certificates are now available, and The Next Step, Inc. is excited to help bring these scholarships to our community. Google Career Certificates provide people with access to in-demand jobs through rapid reskilling without the need for a college degree or prior experience in the fields of data analytics, digital marketing & e-commerce, IT support, project management, cybersecurity, and user experience (UX) design. These certificates were developed and taught by Google employees and are hands-on and practical. They can be completed in under six months part-time.

Criteria to Receive a Scholarship

Be 18+ and live in the U.S. (at the time of application)

Register and finish the 10-day Microsoft Office Basics Program with 80% or higher

Fill in this scholarship form and all the required information. Make sure that you give detailed information to help us process your form quickly.
Priority will be given to residents in the Greater Houston Area. However, all are encouraged to apply.

In order to receive a Google Career Certificate Scholarship from The Next Step, Inc., here are the requirements:
1. Be 18 years or older (at the time of application)
2. Register and complete the Microsoft Office Basics Program with 80% or higher
3. Fill in this scholarship form and all the required information.
2. What is the Microsoft Office Basics?
Our Microsoft Office Basics program introduces Word and Excel while strengthening emotional intelligence skills essential for any office environment (remote, in-office, or hybrid). Participants will learn by creating a resume, job search spreadsheet, and action plan to address work challenges.
3. What career certificates does Google Offer?
Under this scholarship, Google is offering these career certifications:
1. Data Analytics Professional Certificate
2. Digital Marketing & E-commerce Professional Certificate
3. Project Management Professional Certificate
4. UX Design Professional Certificate
5. IT Support Professional Certificate
6. Cybersecurity Professional Certificate
4. What Prior Experience do you need?
None. There is no experience required to take the Google Career Certificate Program.
5. How long does the Google Career Certificate Program take?
Although it is self-paced, you will have 6 mouths to complete this program under this scholarship.
